Job Summary You will be calling engineers, distributors, and plant operators supporting water and wastewater facilities, power plants, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial locations in need of display and control equipment. Your goal is to have conversations with someone who will make the decision to buy our products. When you do reach this person, you will deliver our compelling reason to make the time to learn more, and eventually to make the purchase. The customers you will be calling are highly targeted businesses with a real need for our kinds of products and are all existing customers or similar businesses. Duties * Conduct calls to new prospective clients to introduce our products and services. * Follow-up on orders, marketing leads, and with past customers to introduce new products and develop additional business. * Utilize Salesforce extensively to log activities, execute on campaigns, and communicate internally. * Give product/line overviews via video call to interested contacts. * Assist customers in determining which products are best given the application needs you uncover. Experience * Proven success in inside sales or a similar proactive outbound calling role. * Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * There's no need to have experience with our type of product or industry, all of which can be learned on the job. If you become an expert in our processes and products, you may be paired with an outside salesperson to set up appointments, manage follow-up, and become part of a regional sales duo.
