Full description of the position

As an Account Manager with The Ray Insurance Group you're expected to be proficient with the following items as you work independently to maintain and grow our client base. * Assist clients with insurance policy questions, servicing requests, and problem resolution. * Review and monitor renewals, claims, applications, and support agency initiatives to support ongoing business. * Prepare and process documents such as policies, renewals, claims, applications, changes, endorsements to ensure accuracy, prevention of errors and omissions * Maintain and follow Agency procedures for customer files within Agency management software * Contact insurance carriers to coordinate processing claims and gathering necessary documentation to work through difficult claim situations * Independently manage policy renewals and resolve customer issues through risk assessment or remarket * Work independently to complete new sales opportunities generated by existing book or other new client channels Requirements Proven experience as an Account Manager or relevant role in the insurance field * Excellent communication and problem solving skills * Strong client relationship management abilities * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Detail-oriented and organized * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite * 2 - 3 years of insurance P&C experience is required * Property and Casualty License is required * High school diploma or equivalent About the Company The Ray Insurance Group is a full service, independent insurance agency located in Fishers, Indiana.
