Assistant Property Manager with Tax Credit Experience Location: Flagstaff Arizona We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a tax credit community in Flagstaff Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in apartment leasing, strong knowledge of tax credit compliance, and exceptional customer service skills. This role involves leasing apartments, Rent Roll, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high occupancy rates while fostering positive relationships with tenants. Responsibilities: - Present and lease apartments to prospective tenants in a professional and persuasive manner. - Ensure compliance with Section 42 Tax Credit programs and regulations. - Process applications, validate tenant qualifications, and prepare lease agreements. - Maintain accurate records of tenant files and leasing activities. - Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently. - Support resident retention efforts through renewal processes and community engagement. Qualifications: - Minimum 1 year of onsite apartment management experience in a tax credit community. - Knowledge of Section 42 Tax Credit compliance and Fair Housing laws. - Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach. - Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite preferred. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). - Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
