Job description Company Overview Security Public Storage (SPS) is a family-owned and operated self-storage company with over 50+ self-storage facilities located in California, Oregon, Nevada, Maryland & Virginia. Job Summary Seeking a highly ambitious, career-oriented individual to work assisting in operating and selling units at our busy facility in Walnut Creek, Thursday - Sunday. Compensation and Perks * $18. per hour * $10.00 for every storage unit rented on days you work alone, which we estimate to equate to an additional $1.00 -$2.00 per hour - bringing the combined potential equivalent compensation to between $19 and $20 per hour. * Employee discount on storage units * Opportunity for advancement Duties * Oversight of all day-to-day operations * Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer queries and problems and professionally * Effectively sells storage units to telephone, walk-in and email inquiries by employing the methods within our Call Flow Guidelines * Completes leases and other documentation in a neat and orderly manner * Reduces delinquent accounts through telephone, text and email contact * Maintains exemplary curb appeal in both our office and throughout that facility, including sweeping units, cleaning hallways and disposing of debris Qualifications and Skills * Sales and marketing experience or mindset * Passion for interacting with the public * Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills * Proficient with technology including CRMs, web browsers, and the Microsoft Office Suite * Previous property management experience a plus *Commission and potential wages resented above are for representative purposes and actual earnings will be based on actual sales numbers.
