Type: Full-Time, Exempt Schedule: Monday to Friday Location: Buffalo, NY Salary: Base salary of $55,000-$60,000 + commission and bonus opportunities About Us The Buffalo Niagara Partnership (BNP) is the regional chamber of commerce for Western New York, dedicated to growing our economy by empowering, connecting, and mobilizing employers. Our work strengthens businesses--and the community they help build. Job Summary Do you enjoy sales, building relationships, and helping local businesses thrive? We're seeking a driven, people-oriented sales professional to join our team as a Membership Manager. In this role, you'll lead new member acquisition, guiding business leaders through the value of BNP membership and helping them choose the tier that fits their goals. You are also responsible for membership retention based on a book of current business. Responsibilities * Identify, qualify, and convert leads into new BNP members * Conduct discovery calls and consultative sales presentations * Manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools and outreach platforms * Recommend appropriate membership tiers based on business needs * Collaborate with marketing and engagement teams on lead generation and onboarding * Represent BNP at networking events and community functions * Maintain accurate records and activity tracking in CRM Qualifications * A minimum of 3-5 years in B2B sales, business development, banking, or a consultative services role * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Comfortable using LinkedIn Navigator, CRM platforms * Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting sales targets * Understanding of small/mid-sized business needs and local economic trends * Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Ideal Candidate Attributes * Sales-driven and goal-oriented * Great listener with a customer-first mindset * Skilled at building trust and solving problems * Organized and detail-oriented in managing pipeline and follow-ups * Energetic, adaptable, and collaborative Compensation & Benefits * Base salary of $55,000-$60,000 + commission and bonus opportunities * Paid vacation and holidays * Medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits * Access to high-level business events and decision-makers * Ongoing professional development and career growth Apply today and help shape the future of the Buffalo Niagara economy --one business at a time.
