Duties

/

Responsibilities

:

• Generates sales quotes to customers for equipment & generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on Taylor Forklifts & all generator makes and models.
• Quotes services in the field and works with all customer relations.
• Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
• Attending and working industry tradeshows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
• Create and implement strategies for equipment & generator service and rental growth.
• Also, work closely with the Taylor Power System sales rep to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities.
• Work with other PSSR in NC for regional customer & business growth strategies unique to the territory customer base.
• Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field.
• Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports to North Caroline Sudden Service Center Manager.
• Maintain & build customer business upon the N.C. Central to Western N.C. territory. Required Skills/Abilities:
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers.
• Incumbent must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
• Incumbents will be required on occasion to stay overnight at out-of-town locations.

Education and Experience

:

• High School Education or GED equivalent
• Sales Parts/Service experience a must.
