Full description of the position

Duties/Responsibilities: * Generates sales quotes to customers for equipment & generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on Taylor Forklifts & all generator makes and models. * Quotes services in the field and works with all customer relations. * Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts. * Attending and working industry tradeshows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships. * Create and implement strategies for equipment & generator service and rental growth. * Also, work closely with the Taylor Power System sales rep to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities. * Work with other PSSR in NC for regional customer & business growth strategies unique to the territory customer base. * Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field. * Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports to North Caroline Sudden Service Center Manager. * Maintain & build customer business upon the N.C. Central to Western N.C. territory. Required Skills/Abilities: * Basic knowledge of computers * Excellent communication skills * Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers. * Incumbent must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements. * Incumbents will be required on occasion to stay overnight at out-of-town locations. Education and Experience: * High School Education or GED equivalent * Sales Parts/Service experience a must.
