About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Product Sales Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of the aftermarket automotive industry, distribution channels, and experience working with independent sales representatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and expanding our market presence through effective sales strategies. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage relationships with distributors, independent sales reps, and key industry partners in the aftermarket automotive public safety sector. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories. * Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and sales reps. * Work closely with independent sales representatives to drive sales growth and enhance brand awareness. * Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. * Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with distributors and clients to maximize profitability. * 30%-50% Travel (out of state) is required to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and support sales reps in the field. * Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and technical questions. * Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline updates in CRM software. Qualifications & Skills: * Proven experience in aftermarket automotive sales with a strong understanding of distribution channels. * Experience working with independent sales reps and managing distributor relationships. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities. * Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. * Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time (domestically or regionally, depending on territory). * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
