Lead the Future of Roofing Sales at Brookens Construction Brookens Construction is a leading roofing company based in the Madison, Wisconsin Metropolitan area, serving residential and commercial clients throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. We're known for our exceptional online reputation, quality workmanship, and community involvement. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take ownership of our sales team, systems, and performance.This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maintaining, refining, and scaling a disciplined, well-trained, and accountable sales organization. This role is focused on training, structure, execution, and results. The right candidate has led sales teams before, understands roofing or construction sales, and wants responsibility for setting standards, improving systems, and raising the overall level of performance. What You 'll Do Lead, develop, and manage a team of 12-20 sales representatives Provide in-field coaching, ride-alongs, and inspections to reinforce standards and improve performance Set clear expectations and drive accountability through KPIs, CRM data, and performance management Build and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth goals Oversee CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting Ensure lead flow, estimating, follow-up, and sales systems are operating efficiently Collaborate with leadership, production, and operations to ensure smooth handoffs and customer satisfaction Maintain and grow relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and commercial clients Represent Brookens Construction professionally in the local market and at industry events Minimum Requirements Applicants without these will not be considered: 2-5+ years of sales management experience inroofing or construction Proven experience leading teams of 10+ sales representatives Demonstrated success in training, coaching, and performance management Strong experience using CRM systems and sales metrics Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Valid driver's license and ability to work in-field as needed Preferred Qualifications Roofing-specific sales or operational experience 5+ years of total sales experience with 2+ years in leadership Experience in door-to-door and in-home sales environments History of building, scaling, or rebuilding sales teams Experience managing lead distribution and performance-based compensation plans Knowledge of insurance-based construction sales is a plus Why Brookens Construction Leadership-driven company that values accountability, integrity, and doing the right thing Strong operations team and established brand in the market Growth-minded culture focused on coaching, development, and continuous improvement Team-oriented environment that values humility, fulfillment, and meaningful work Opportunity to scale and maintain a high-performing sales organization, not just oversee one Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Performance-based bonus tied to team and company results Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Two weeks' vacation, sick time, 13 holidays, and one company-wide floating week Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
