Job Title: General Manager - Fitness Club Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Commision Reports To: VP of Sales & Operations About Us: We are a thriving, high-energy fitness club committed to transforming lives through health, fitness, and community. With a strong member base, dedicated staff, and a wide range of programs, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our club to the next level of growth and excellence. Position Overview: As the General Manager , you will be the face of the club and the driving force behind operational excellence, member satisfaction, team leadership, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a diverse team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the club meets or exceeds financial goals. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage all aspects of daily operations, including front desk, sales, personal training, group fitness, and facility maintenance * Hire, train, develop, and motivate a high-performing team * Drive membership sales and retention through strategic marketing and outreach * Ensure an exceptional member experience and resolve customer concerns promptly * Monitor financial performance and implement initiatives to improve profitability * Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment * Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies * Collaborate with ownership/upper management on business planning and reporting Qualifications: * 3+ years of management experience, preferably in the fitness, hospitality, or service industry * Proven leadership and team-building skills * Strong sales and customer service background * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment * Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals * Familiarity with fitness software systems (e.g., Mindbody, Club OS, ABC Fitness) is a plus * CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain What We Offer: * Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses * Complimentary gym membership * Health and wellness benefits (if applicable) * Opportunity for growth and professional development * A positive, energetic, and supportive work environment Ready to lead an energetic team and help people transform their lives?
