Job description: Baumann Auto Group is a fast growing automotive retailer that is looking to hire a Sales Manager at our Baumann Ford Oregon location. Must have Automotive Sales and Finance experience. Responsibilities: * Develop and support a professional sales team. * Manage and mentor sales team on the proper sales techniques to sell and uphold customer base. * Business planning for the sales team (plans monthly and annual objectives). * Track and manage the dealership's sales process. * Provide exceptional customer service. * Follow up, as appropriate, on all potential buyers, by creating, implementing and closely monitoring a customer search and sales control system. * Provide General Manager with exact information on management of floor activities on established (daily/weekly) basis. * Establish and maintain the standards for delivery of vehicles to the customers. * Keeps up to date in manufacturer's current product, program and promotional novelties and/or those of the financial institutions. Notifies the sales team of any changes. * Trains and motivates the personnel reporting to him/her. * Encourages team-work in a sales environment focused on the clientele throughout the entire sale, delivery and follow-up process. * Maintain efficient communication within the other departments throughout the dealership. * Maintain a professional appearance. * Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.
