Full description of the position
We are seeking candidates with recent experience in an insurance agency with a strong emphasis on outbound sales activity. If you have Allstate Agency experience and have a proven track record of producing 40 or more baseline items a month, we are very interested in speaking with you. Our sales producers average $7,000-$11,000 per month in commissions. Verifiable W-2 income opportunity of $150K per year. Our Premier multiple-location (Schertz, Northwest San Antonio) insurance agency is excited to hire a qualified insurance sales professional. This is an opportunity to join our team of licensed professionals consisting of one of the largest Allstate Agencies in San Antonio. Primary duties and responsibilities include new business development and cross-selling existing customers. The Ideal candidate is money-motivated and comfortable closing business via telephone. Licensed Insurance Sales Representative Required Core Competencies: * Capable of closing a minimum of 40K in written property and casualty premium per month * This position requires the ability to cultivate and close new property and casualty policies over the phone and walk-in foot traffic * Identifying and qualifying sales leads generated from a variety of sources, including: agency-funded lead sources, inter-agency referred cross-sales, call-in/ walk-in requests for quotes, agency-funded marketing, networking and self-generated referrals * Presenting, explaining and closing sales using a consultative approach, based on a true understanding of client-focused needs and goals * Calling, presenting and selling Allstate Insurance products and services * Professional phone etiquette * Ability to perform a client-focused needs analysis * Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations * Multi-tasking skills * Setting sales goals and executing the plan to achieve those goals on a daily basis * Building relationships with clients * Basic computer skills * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various windows applications * Aptitude to learn numerous proprietary web-based platforms and CRMs Licensed Insurance Sales Representative Minimum Qualifications: - Texas General Lines and or Personal Lines Property and Casualty License is required Compensation: We offer a comprehensive compensation package; * Base salary * Commission * Paid time off plan (PTO) * Comprehensive benefits package to include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Benefits, Employer Match Retirement Plan If you want to join an elite organization that can provide you a platform to thrive, we would welcome the opportunity to determine a mutual fit.
