Job Summary We are seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for driving sales growth by identifying, pursuing, and establishing new client relationships in the staffing and recruiting industry. This role focuses on understanding clients' workforce needs, providing customized staffing solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction while meeting company revenue and growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development * Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets in assigned territory. * Identify and qualify prospective clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and referrals. * Build strong relationships with decision-makers, including HR Managers, Plant Managers, and Operations Managers, to understand their workforce challenges. * Present tailored staffing solutions, highlighting the firm's expertise in delivering qualified candidates for light industrial, manufacturing, and logistics sectors (or other industries). Client Management * Conduct client consultations to assess staffing needs and develop customized proposals. * Negotiate terms of service agreements, including pricing, mark-ups, and placement guarantees. * Act as the primary point of contact to ensure smooth onboarding and continued satisfaction. Collaboration and Communication * Work closely with the recruiting team to communicate client needs, timelines, and priorities. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of staffing solutions. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Market Knowledge and Reporting * Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and local labor market conditions. * Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). * 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in staffing or human resources. * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships. * Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently. * Familiarity with the staffing industry, particularly light industrial or manufacturing, is a plus.
