Raps Auto Parts is a locally owned and operated group of Napa Auto Parts Stores. We are seeking an experienced salesperson for our MA Metro West market. The individual must be self-motivated organized and comfortable making cold calls. Candidate would be servicing our professional repair shops, body shops, and industrial customers. Responsibilities: * Drive growth of independently-owned NAPA Auto Parts stores, customer base, sales and profits * Promote the entire line of NAPA products and programs to Wholesale Customers * Work with local Store Manager to develop plans to increase sales and proactively initiate, contact, manage and develop leads on a local basis * Identify specific needs of customers and align solutions with NAPA's offerings. * Work with manufacturer's representatives to improve program offerings and grow customer knowledge of lines * Engage customers and keep them connected through all of NAPA's eSales programs * Maintain customer satisfaction and provide strong customer service including solving customer problems, complaints and questions in person or by telephone Qualifications: * High sense of urgency and be customer service oriented. Experience with building and developing strong customer relationships. Excellent listener. Empathetic to individuals concerns and direct necessary follow-up actions. - 5+ years automotive parts knowledge * Be a team player. We want teammates with a proactive, never-fail-attitude in the face of adversity, ambiguous situations and a lack of managerial oversight. You should have the ability to work and motivate yourself independently while also working with teammates for the greater good of the team and Company. * Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage many different sales activities simultaneously. * Excellent organizational and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize and demonstrate initiative. * Tenacity: Staying with a position or plan of action until the desired objective is achieved or is no longer reasonably attainable. * Strong written, oral, and facilitation skills. * Excellent presentation skills - ability to effectively deliver sales presentations to varied audiences. * Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly. * Set expectations, meet commitments, track results, and manage accountability. Requirements: * 5 years of outside Sales experience * Background in the Automotive Industry * Capable of lifting and moving items of up to 60 pounds. * Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls. * Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. * Required to operate a vehicles for extended periods of time.
