[please apply online] Job Description This role is responsible for closing sales deals and maintaining good customer relationships. Also provides timely and accurate customer service through email and phone including order entry, product knowledge and availability, and resolving customer issues. It maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers and internal departments. It requires good judgement, confidentiality, and adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures. Major Duties and Responsibilities: * Prospect, establish, and build new and existing productive relationships with potential partners * Assist Customers (Walk-in), over the phone and Live chat * Ensure targets are met through continuous business development and competitive research * Proactively call customers, answer phone, follow up on quotes, call customers that have bought in the past. * Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts * Answering questions about products or the company * Asking questions to understand customer requirements and close sales * Taking and placing quotes & orders in SAP. * Ensure timely and accurate service to inquiries through phone and email * Follow up internally regarding Back Orders to ensure timely delivery of products * Create and maintain positive relationships with customers * Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications and Skills: * Completion of a postsecondary program in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline * 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service * Professional, ethical, selfdisciplined, and able to manage time effectively * Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely * Pleasant interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of an organization * High sense of urgency, initiative, and motivation to succeed * Strong attention to detail with solid clerical and organizational abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook * Familiarity with SAP is an asset * Spanish language skills are an asset * Forklift experience is an asset OMCAN appreciates all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
