About Us: Deacon is a fast-growing wholesale flooring supplier, providing premium flooring products to retailers and flooring dealers throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative - Territory Manager to grow and manage accounts throughout the Eastern North Carolina region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and enjoys being on the road building long-term relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage relationships with existing customers and prospective accounts within the assigned territory * Set up new accounts and establish product displays on showroom floors * Perform product knowledge sessions with customers * Manage product drops and new product introductions * Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently * Coordinate with the warehouse and operations team to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues * Provide exceptional service and support to customers, addressing inquiries and needs promptly * Complete and submit prospect and sales reports regularly * Represent Deacon professionally in the field, maintaining strong brand presence and customer trust * Travel frequently throughout the region to maintain regular face-to-face contact with customers Qualifications: * Proven experience in outside sales or territory management (flooring or building materials industry preferred) * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization * Comfortable working independently and on the road * Basic computer and CRM proficiency * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We Offer: * Base salary + competitive commission structure * Monthly vehicle allowance and covered hotel stays * Health insurance * Matching 401K * Paid time off and major holidays * Supportive, team-oriented company culture with room to grow Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Work Location: On the road
