Our firm, Pacific Acquisitions, is seeking a Retail Associate to handle the customer experience within a leading home improvement retail environment. The Retail Associate will be the face of our consultative approach, using your expertise to build relationships and provide solutions that resonate on a personal level with every shopper. As a Retail Associate, you'll do more than sell products; you'll help build havens. Key Responsibilities of the Retail Associate * Guide customers on home improvement products, offering recommendations, installation advice, and maintenance tips based on their project goals, budget, and usage. * Present product features and benefits across categories such as tools, hardware, flooring, and fixtures to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. * Manage point-of-sale transactions and promotional offers with precision, ensuring pricing accuracy and clarity throughout the checkout process. * Maintain inventory and merchandising standards by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and aligning store layout with seasonal campaigns and vendor guidelines. * Record customer interactions and feedback using CRM systems to support sales reporting, inventory planning, and future engagement strategies. * Collaborate with store teams and campaign leads to share insights, streamline workflows, and contribute to overall retail performance targets. Minimum Qualifications of the Retail Associate * High school diploma or GED required; coursework in marketing, communications, or retail management preferred. * Experience in retail sales, product merchandising, or promotional support--ideally within home improvement, lifestyle, or consumer goods environments. * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features, usage benefits, and promotional details clearly across in-store and digital channels. * Proficient in point-of-sale systems and CRM platforms, with a focus on accurate data entry, inventory tracking, and transaction processing. * Energetic and adaptable, capable of managing multiple product inquiries and maintaining organized displays in a fast-paced retail setting.
