We partner closely with operators, contractors, and industry professionals to deliver consultative solutions that elevate how kitchens function, perform, and grow. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the Cleveland, OH area. The rep is a field-based, hunter- oriented role responsible for developing new business, managing a defined territory, and building long-term relationships within the foodservice and construction ecosystem. This role requires a consultative mindset, strong follow-through, emotional resilience, and the ability to coordinate complex projects from opportunity through completion--often in a competitive and fast- moving environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Relationship Building * Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owner-operators, manufacturer representatives, general contractors, and other service-industry stakeholders * Develop trust through consistency, responsiveness, and a solutions-first approach * Adapt communication and engagement style to fit each relationship's unique dynamic Consultative Selling * Assess customer goals and business models (e.g., schools, processing facilities, restaurants, banquet and catering venues) * Recommend equipment and solutions that align with operational needs and long-term growth * Position value over price, helping customers make informed, strategic decisions Territory & Account Management * Manage assigned territory, accounts, and customer expectations * Address billing questions, timeline concerns, and service coordination proactively * Maintain ownership of customer experience from first contact through project completion Business Development * Prospect consistently and relentlessly to build a strong pipeline * Create momentum through outbound activity, referrals, and market presence * Demonstrate confidence, charisma, and resilience in the face of rejection Product & Industry Knowledge * Develop working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, installations, repairs, and design workflows * Stay technically curious and committed to continuous learning CRM & Pipeline Management * Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, and follow-up tasks * Track opportunities and forecast revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis Negotiation & Closing * Negotiate effectively while protecting margin and reinforcing value * Close business while ensuring customers fully understand next steps * Stay engaged post-sale to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction Problem Solving * Address service issues and manage difficult situations with professionalism and sound judgment * De-escalate unrealistic expectations and remain proactive rather than reactive Required Attributes & Competencies * Self-starter with strong internal drive and minimal need for supervision * Customer-first mindset with a commitment to delivering an elite experience * High accountability and relentless follow-through * Hunter mentality with strong motivation to build new relationships * Exceptional relationship-building skills with operators, architects, and GCs * Strong problem-solving ability and independent judgment * Creative, resourceful, and willing to push through obstacles * Detail-oriented, organized, and disciplined with follow-up * Emotionally resilient, composed, and persistent in high-pressure situations Preferred Qualifications * Experience in outside sales, business development, or territory management * Exposure to commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice, construction, or related industries (preferred, not required) * Comfort working in a field-based role with variable schedules Join us as an Outside Sales Representative in Cleveland to energize your career!
