Full description of the position

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery store chains, restaurants, and other retail outlets. Provide expertise on the flavor profiles and applications of different cheese products. Gather feedback from customers to understand their preferences and needs. Sales Development: Identify opportunities to introduce cheese products to new markets and demographics. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen managers to integrate cheese products into their menus. Attend industry events and trade shows to showcase the uniqueness of your cheese offerings. Product Knowledge: Stay well-informed about the quality, source, and production process of your cheese products. Train sales staff and customers on the culinary uses and benefits of specific cheese varieties. Highlight any certifications, such as organic or artisanal, to enhance product appeal. Order Processing: Manage orders for both standard and customized cheese products. Coordinate with the production team to ensure inventory meets demand. Monitor shelf life and freshness of products in distribution channels. Market Research: Stay current on cheese industry trends, including emerging flavors and packaging innovations. Analyze market data to identify potential growth areas for specific cheese products. Work with the marketing team to develop promotions that align with current market demands. Quota Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets for different cheese product categories. Monitor the performance of each product and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Develop promotions or discounts to stimulate sales during specific seasons or events. Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing to create visually appealing product displays and promotional materials. Communicate regularly with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery. Partner with retailers on joint marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility. Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and promotional agreements with distributors and retailers. Address any quality or delivery issues promptly to maintain strong partnerships. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and inventory levels. Provide regular reports on sales performance by product category and region. Training and Presentations: Conduct training sessions for sales staff, distributors, and customers on the unique features of your cheese products. Create engaging presentations to showcase recipes and serving suggestions for each cheese variety.
