We are expanding and seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our high-performing Sales & Marketing team.
Position Summary
The Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue through relationship-based selling, personalized prospect engagement, and expert guidance throughout the residency process. This role requires strong consultative sales skills, the ability to manage a high volume of leads, and the professionalism to represent a premier senior living community. Candidates with senior living , hospitality , or real estate backgrounds are welcome to apply. A passion for serving older adults and creating meaningful customer experiences is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
- Cultivate relationships with prospective residents and their families through tours, phone outreach, email follow-up, appointments and events.
- Convert inquiries into deposits and move-ins, meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals.
- Maintain updated prospect information in the CRM.
- Develop individualized prospect strategies using high-touch, relationship-based selling.
- Educate prospects on continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), contract types, financial qualifications, and the Carolina Meadows lifestyle.
- Provide clear, compassionate support through all decision-making stages, including financial review, medical clearance, contract signing, and move-in.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless resident experience.
- Plan and host onsite events, tours, and informational sessions for prospects and families.
- Work cross-departmentally (healthcare, finance, operations, refurbishment) to streamline the move-in and contract process.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, strategy sessions, and reporting.
- Help manage resident Ambassador programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in senior living, hospitality, real estate, high-end customer service, or related field.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a consultative selling environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working with CRM systems.
- Strong initiative to proactively identify tasks and assignments with little oversight needed.
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- Understanding of CCRC concepts, real estate, and/or high-value contracts preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in required.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM basics. Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
