Geatain Engineering is hiring a Director of Sales to lead executive-level sales conversations with ownership groups and senior decision-makers across large building portfolios.
This role is intentionally designed for disciplined sales professionals who consistently outperform peers, understand how to sell financial outcomes—not products—and expect compensation reflecting real contribution.
We are on a defined mission to deliver $10M+ in verified energy savings for existing buildings by Labor Day 2026.
You will be directly responsible for driving a meaningful portion of that impact.

The Reality of the Sale
Executives do not invest in “energy solutions ”, they invest in:

Your responsibility is to lead disciplined, executive-level conversations with VPs of Revenue Management, Operations, Asset Management, and Facilities—converting proven energy savings into signed contracts.
This is not a high-activity role.
It is a precision closing role.
You will intrinsically qualify opportunities, address unspoken objections, and identify the exact leverage points required to move complex decisions to signature.
What You Will Own
- Late-cycle responsibility for closing heating and cooling energy-savings contracts
- Executive-level financial discussions centered on ROI, payback periods, and NOI impact
- Maintaining a focused, accurate pipeline you fully stand behind
- Influencing deal structure to maximize client outcomes and long-term value
- Selling outcomes backed by real engineering execution—not theoretical solutions

This role is selective by design. The right candidate will bring:
- 6–10 years of senior sales experience selling into large organizations or portfolios
- A documented history of consistently exceeding targets
- Comfort closing six-figure and multi-six-figure contracts
- Strong financial fluency, including ROI modeling, payback analysis, and operating-cost impact
- Executive presence that earns trust quickly with senior leadership
- A BA/BS degree
- At least 5 years selling to large portfolios or hotels
Compensation Structure
This compensation plan is designed for professionals who create measurable value.
- On-Target Earnings: $200,000–$300,000+ annually
- Base salary included for stability
- Uncapped earnings tied directly to signed contracts
