In-Home Sales Representative, Basement Waterproofing (New York)

A.M. Shield Waterproofing is seeking a highly professional and experienced In-Home Sales Representative to join our team in New York. You will be responsible for meeting with homeowners, inspecting properties, and providing customized waterproofing solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented sales professional with a proven track record of closing sales and nurturing client relationships.

In-home sales experience is a must.

Pre-Qualified leads, no cold calling!

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners on company-provided, pre-qualified leads to diagnose basement and crawlspace issues.
• Build trust and rapport with customers to understand their specific needs and desired outcomes.
• Provide clear and compelling presentations of our waterproofing solutions, which may include using digital tools like an iPad.
• Design and write comprehensive sales proposals, including necessary technical details, diagrams, and pricing information.
• Negotiate and close sales to meet or exceed established sales quotas.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM software.
• Ensure strong and proactive follow-up with potential and existing clients to advance sales and build lasting relationships.
• Collaborate with our installation and production teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a construction, home improvement, or technical sales environment.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Professionalism: Exhibit a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers and team members.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is required for accurate inspections and proposal writing.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage a sales pipeline, client information, and schedules effectively.
• Follow-up Skills: Strong follow-up skills to ensure no lead is left behind and customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Transportation: Must own a reliable car to travel to and from appointments across the New York territory.
