Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales professional to join our clients' team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our innovative technology solutions and our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving sales through effective product demonstrations and customer engagement. Duties * Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of our technology solutions. * Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product features and enhancements. * Analyze customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. * Engage in pre-sales activities, including presentations, proposals, and technical discussions. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships. * Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. * Utilize knowledge of computer networking, AWS, Linux, VMWare, and Python to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience * Experience in Technical sales or pre-sales role within the technology sector. * Experience in conducting product demos and presenting technical information clearly. * Proficiency in analyzing customer needs and providing tailored solutions. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Requirements * A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred. * 5+ years experience in defining market needs and trends. * Previous experience with instrumentation is preferred * 5+ years technical experience in industrial and/or process sales/marketing/engineering required * Ability to develop, plan and execute market strategies * Ability to work cross functionally with other members of the sales and marketing organization * Strong negotiating skills Biter & Associates is a direct-hire recruiting firm.
