Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate product knowledge will enhance the customer experience and contribute to our sales goals. Responsibilities * Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. * Assist customers with product demonstrations and provide information about features and benefits. * Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase sales. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring stock levels are adequate and replenished as needed. * Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Support retail sales initiatives by actively participating in promotional events and activities. * Utilize basic math skills to calculate totals, process payments, and provide change accurately. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. * Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered.
