Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food products, including baked goods and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all products are well-stocked and presented.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including baking, decorating cakes, and handling food items safely.
• Operate cash registers efficiently while processing transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about product offerings and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Familiarity with kitchen tools and equipment, including knives and food handling practices.
• Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
