Area Sales Manager - Colorado/Utah Home Market - Denver Metro Outer Markets: Ft Collins/Colorado Springs/Salt Lake Job Description BeGOAT Clean Energy is headquartered in Bend Oregon. We are a revolutionary all-natural clean energy beverage company that specializes in manufacturing delicious, caffeinated beverages targeted toward consumers looking for a better-for-you option. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about health and wellness and strives to be their greatest of all time in all aspects of life. We are growing out of our established NW market into CO/UT and beyond. We are hiring an enthusiastic and driven sales manager to build and grow the mountain market. BeGOAT is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial workplace where actions speak louder than words. As a key sales team member, the Area Sales Manager (ASM) will have a lot of work autonomy and will be expected to have a plan, prioritize tasks, stay on task and make decisive decisions in the field. The ASM will ensure that BeGOAT consistently meets and exceeds sales goals, while maintaining a high level of customer/partner satisfaction. We are experiencing rapid growth in the northwest and look to scale nationally over the coming years. Our senior management team has 20+ years of experience in the CPG industry, leading brands in many beverage categories. This is a great opportunity to build significant skill sets and grow experience in brand building strategy to help build a stronger resume and create more vertical opportunities. Qualifications Required: * Must be 21 years old * Valid Driver's License * Ability to lift 40 lbs * Dependable vehicle transportation * Pass DMV and background check * Ability to work remotely * Proficiently use Microsoft Suite * Outgoing personality Preferred Experience: * CPG sales * Direct sales * Account management * Distributor management Job Responsibilities: * Responsible for growing total territory points of distribution to achieve growth targets and account visits. * Directly manage all aspects of the assigned sales territory. * Build the self-distribution (hand sell) buying accounts * Work autonomously to establish, develop, and grow a strong base of on-premise and off-premise accounts. * Participate in evening and weekend promotions and assist marketing with special events as necessary. * Complete daily account call surveys, monthly expense reports, and other meetings, surveys and reports as required. * Maintain accurate records of all accounts, retailer information, distributor actionables and sales with CRM (KARMA). * Use and become efficient in SQUARE as your primary self-distribution application. * Manage storage inventory and ensure monthly audits are executed. * Develop your overall category knowledge, not only of BeGOAT, but our competitors' products, pricing, and market conditions. * Promote BeGOAT products knowledgeably, clearly and enthusiastically to retailers, distributors and customers. * Contribute your knowledge and expertise to growing outer markets and potential new markets. * Actively collaborate with teammates to make fast action and always keep moving forward. * Travel to outer markets (Ft Collins/Colorado Springs/Salt Lake) 20%-30% on a regular cadence based on volume and growth opportunity. Retail Responsibilities: * Manage territory accounts by conducting account calls each week * Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within assigned sales territory. * Secure display/secondary space, shelf space, and share of cold box. * Execute merchandising standards * Execute promotional programs * Utilize weekly reports to identify new opportunities and maximize current accounts to increase volume and distribution * Utilize sampling events to drive customer awareness and volume * Maintain positive business relationships and communication with account owners, managers, and buyers. * Develop proposals for prospective customers and deliver sales presentations. * Ensure BeGOAT inventory levels are never out of stock. Distributor Responsibilities: * Manage wholesaler relationships through weekly account/program communication. * Work with distributors to build awareness of our portfolio and programming. * Conduct regular distributor work withs to open new accounts, new SKUs and programming. * Regular distributor market condition communication and follow up. * Ensure distributors have the most current and enough POS material. * Identify and build relationships with sub distributors. * Ensure BeGOAT inventory levels are never out of stock. Self-Distribution (Hand Sell) Responsibilities: * Expand self-distribution program to include S OR * Manage business through Square App * Create and execute a consistent routing/delivery system to ensure customers are always in stock * Ensure all accounts and deliveries are executed/have contingency plan prior to leaving for vacation and/or vacating a particular market for an extended amount of time. * Ensure BeGOAT inventory levels are never out of stock.
