Job Summary Carbtrol Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Stratford, CT. We specialize in designing and manufacturing activated carbon filters and environmental equipment for clients across the U.S. and internationally. With over 40 years of industry leadership, we continue to grow and innovate in our field. Responsibilities * Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email. * Qualify leads and determine the best approach to meet customer objectives. * Explain the features and benefits of our products. * Review technical specifications and request costing from engineering as needed. * Prepare quotations using QuickBooks. * Follow up with customers regarding proposals and bids. * Enter sales orders and change orders in QuickBooks. * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve order-related issues. * Support sewer odor control representatives in select regions on bid proposals and orders. * Work with consulting engineers to get our products specified in bid proposals. * Take initiative in gathering competitive intelligence, market trends, and new product ideas. Education * Science or engineering degree (Associate's or Bachelor's). Skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Technical proficiency and time management abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Organized and detail-oriented. Experience * Previous experience is a plus.
