Reports to: Director of Sales Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience: Two (2) years of home healthcare experience and Two (2) years of Business Development/Sales experience.NOTE: HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Skills: Knowledge of office machines preferred, computer skills required, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge of billing requirements. Typing preferred. Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance. Environmental and Working Conditions: Works in a routine office environment. Noise level may be moderately high. The ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours. The ability to travel and some exposure to inclement weather. Physical and Mental Effort: * Prolonged sitting and standing required. * The ability to lift, pull, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds. * The role may require the need to stoop, kneel, and reach while accessing files. * Requires working under stressful conditions to meet deadlines and employer and employee needs. Essential Functions: * Community development and education of business services. * Generate referrals and development of relationships within the community to generate business. * Direct professional and account management activities, which includes meeting attainable goals with respect to sales objectives. * Utilize company resources to ensure efficient and consistent sales. * Actively participates in the coordinating, planning, and working all community events, to include health fairs, wellness fairs, and all other events necessary to maintain a positive company image. * Distributes necessary paperwork to and from company and physicians with relationship to orders needing physician signatures. * Maintains proper and accurate financial records of all expenses related to servicing and educating the community and physicians. * Follow-up on pending referrals based on admissions criteria. * Rounding with account discharge planners, case managers, and social workers. * Attends all departmental mandatory meetings. * Must possess a strong customer service philosophy, teamwork, and demonstrate a high code of ethics. * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. * Perform other functions as assigned by Director of Sales.
