Find out more at: [please apply online] The Sales Engineer will support the Sales Team (Business Development Representatives & Sales Coordinators) with the presales process of the business. This would include box sales, RFP's / bid work, and design build projects. Primary Responsibilities: * Perform the validation of equipment choices and systems conception with sales team. * Responsible of products and specialized equipment research. * Evaluate the labor needs, hardware, wirings for projects. * Technical Drawing review for bid / RFP work. * Presales engineering work including block diagrams and drawings / sketches. * Performing needs assessment. * Assist Developing a budget, pricing, quotes with Sales Teams using sales software systems. * Assist Sales team with preparing scope of work and Executive Summary. * Analyze the estimated costs as well as the feasibility and relevant projects submitted by the representatives. * Assisting Sales Team with negotiating the project and securing the work. * Attend Prebid site visits for details and site conditions. * Keep informed of new products and modern technologies in the audiovisual domain. * Assisting with reasonable management duties. * All normal duties necessary to assure the success of the project and company. * Complete customer and sales team requests accurately and timely. * Participate actively in internal sales meetings locally and in the US. * Complete manufacturer certifications. * Provide historical records by maintaining documentation throughout the sales process. * Your profile * Minimum of five years of experience as a systems engineer or designer. * College Degree in Engineering, theatre, technology, or similar background desired. * CTS certification is a plus; preference will be given to CTS-D. * Experience in Audio modeling software required (EASE, Soundvision, MAPP3D). * Experience in Lighting and Video modeling software preferred. Knowledge * Experience with complex audio, lighting, video, and rigging systems. * Experience with all types of projects (Performing Arts Centers, Corporate, Sports, HOW, etc.) * Low or High Voltage construction experience required. * Knowledge of construction sites and the construction process. * Good knowledge of Office 365 (Excel, Word, MS Projects, SharePoint) * Ability to prepare, understand and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction and electrical drawings. * Specialized software skills in sound, video, and/or lighting. * Strong capacity to work with multiple schedules at once and under pressure. * The environment may be fast paced and stressful. * Ability to solve complicated problems. * Thoroughness and attention to detail. * Well-developed organizational skills. * Demonstrate ability to work well with clients (internal and external). * Adapt to change easily. * Strong team player and highly collaborative.
