Overview Ownly Organic is a fast-growing Delta 9 company based in Charleston, SC. Be a part of a special culture in a product category that is growing exponentially! We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within a designated territory. Your expertise in outside sales, coupled with your ability to build strong relationships with clients, will be crucial in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, territory management, and a passion for in-person sales. As a Territory Sales Manager at Ownly Organic, you will play a crucial role in managing our current customer relationships and driving sales growth through new accounts in your designated territory. You will be responsible for maintaining a strong book of business, executing sales tastings, and fostering relationships with both customers and distribution partners. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of their territory's sales success. Key Responsibilities: * Account Management: * Visit and maintain relationships with all current accounts within your territory at least once every 30-45 days. * Conduct sales tastings and ensure all accounts are engaged with the appropriate products and materials. * Oversee product inventory and assist reorder process for each account. * Distributor Collaboration: * Participate in weekly ride-alongs with distributor sales reps to strengthen relationships and enhance sales efforts. * Introduce and maintain relationships with distributors to maximize resources and ensure opportunities are aligned with sales goals. * Communicate sales activity to the proper contacts in our distribution network. * Ownly Training & Education: * Educate accounts on our products, sales incentives, and tracking tools. * Gather feedback from accounts to continually improve sales approaches. * Performance Tracking & Reporting: * Log and track all sales and customer interactions using our CRM system. * Provide weekly reports on sales activities, meetings, tastings, and notable updates or opportunities. * Maintain accurate and timely records of account visits and sales efforts. * Collaboration & Communication: * Work closely with distributor front-line staff to route conversations, manage orders, and streamline sales processes. * Regularly update your manager on account progress and sales activities. Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales (preferably in a related field). * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively. * Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. * Experience using CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred). * Willingness to travel within the designated region to visit accounts and collaborate with distributors.
