Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their commercial / fleet vehicle upfit needs. You would also assist our outside sales team with building proposals and ordering parts. You will be responsible for managing inventory, processing sales transactions, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience as well as assisting our Store Manager in any ancillary needs or role.

Duties

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and needs.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations based on their automotive requirements.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is adequately maintained and organized.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track inventory and sales data.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close sales effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace that reflects our commitment to quality service.
• Collaborate with the install team to provide accurate information regarding parts and services. Skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel for tracking sales and inventory data.
• Knowledge of automotive parts processes and installs is preferred.
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
