AllTek Staffing has partnered with a local manufacturer who specializes in making actuators for heavy industrial and nuclear applications. Our client is currently looking to add an Application Engineer, Jr to their sales team. This company has been in the actuator game for a long time and has a great history of success in the Pittsburgh market. Job Details: This is a direct hire role. Includes healthcare, vacation, 401k and annual bonus. Duties/Responsibilities: * Interpret a customer's requirements, prepare, price and submit quotations Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) business system (M3). * Define the technical scope of work and assure company can meet the requirements. * Work with Supply Chain to obtain quotations for components and accessories to support the overall scope of supply. * Follow up the quotations and coordinate sales efforts with other sales team members. * Review purchase orders against negotiated quotation documents. * Enter orders into the ERP business system and prepare all technical documents to define the products internally. * Prepare turn over package for Supply Chain as required. Education and Experience: * Requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.. * Experience using ERP business software (M3 preferred), Salesforce and common Microsoft products. * Experience with nuclear industry and valve actuation is a plus.
