Responsibilities * Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescription and lifestyle needs. * Provide detailed information about lenses, frames, and other optical products. * Perform fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear. * Maintain accurate patient records and prescriptions. * Collaborate with optometrists to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Handle billing inquiries and process payments efficiently. * Manage inventory levels of optical products, ensuring availability for customers. * Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology. Qualifications * Previous experience in an optometry setting is preferred. * Knowledge of terminology related to eyewear is essential. * Familiarity with vision billing processes is a plus. * Strong retail sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Understanding of retail math for inventory management and sales analysis. * Experience in retail management is advantageous but not required. * Ability to maintain organized medical records and adhere to confidentiality standards. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. * Computer literacy and navigation proficiency is essential.
