Dual-faceted position. Trailer Sales of New York is seeking a State-Licensed Vehicle/Trailer Inspector & Sales Support Specialist to join our team in North Collins, NY. The ideal candidate will have a New York State Vehicle/Trailer Inspector License or be willing to obtain one with company support. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting state inspections , unstacking trailers, operating a forklift to move trailers around the yard, and assisting with sales and paperwork. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys taking on a variety of responsibilities. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks, including but not limited to: * Performing inspections in compliance with New York law * Unstacking loads of trailers * Operating a forklift to move trailers around the yard * Mounting tires * Completing paperwork and processing payments * Assisting with sales-related activities and providing support to the sales team You will receive on-the-job training related to trailer knowledge, so prior experience is not required but is a plus. Qualifications: * New York State Vehicle/Trailer Inspector License preferred (company willing to support the right candidate in obtaining certification) * Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to various tasks * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Attention to detail and a commitment to safety * Valid driver's license Work Schedule: * Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday required.
