Full description of the position

The Sales administrative assistant creates and maintains the Sales Order system. They perform routine clerical and administrative duties. They organize files, prepare documents, schedule appointments, and support the sales staff. The Sales administrative assistant typically does the following: * Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls * Schedules appointments and update event calendars * Receives customer Purchase Orders and prepares sales orders and other reports * Edit documents * Maintains the databases and filing systems, whether electronic or paper. * Uses computer software to create spreadsheets; manage databases; and prepare presentations, reports, and documents. * Works closely with design, scheduling and production to ensure sales orders are completed according to schedule. * Assists in the shipping department * Occasionally works in production to ensure the products are completed according to schedule. Experience in any of the following areas would be a plus: * Marketing * Website maintenance * Social media Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Paid time off Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
