Sales Account Manager opportunity based in Arizona Denmark Foods, as part of Hempler Foods Group, is a fresh food production facility in Peoria AZ. Since 1987, Denmark Foods has been providing fresh sausage and meats to grocers and food service companies. Whether it's pork, chicken, or beef, we are committed to quality, premium, meats being sold in retailers, restaurants, ball clubs, and various stores throughout the west. Terms: Full time,up to 50% travel Salary: $110K - $130K, Depending upon experience with bonus structure. About the role: The sales account manager at Denmark Foods is responsible for working with independent retail stores, retail chain accounts, Food Service accounts, and restaurant customers. This person is responsible for sales, margin, and item management within these retailers. Responsibilities: * Negotiate all sales prices, promotions, terms and conditions specified by Company leadership. * Enhance and manage all customer partnerships at key accounts through customer relations and effective customer management * Seek and implement new business opportunities within operating area * Work and coordinate with local broker network to achieve desired results * Responsible for operating area of responsibility's P&L's, sales targets, distribution goals, and margin requirements * Interacting with cross-functional teams and levels of management at Hemplers * Responsible for driving new business * Provide executive level of reporting in the form of sales and marketing plans, budgets, margin updates, sales, goals, etc. * Hands-on training at the Peoria facility to learn about the products, operations, production capabilities. Requirements * 3+ years of experience in retail consumer packaged goods *Negotiate all sales prices, promotions, terms and conditions specified by company * Oversees the pioneering of the Hempler Family of brand items in new markets * Analytical Problem solver * Able to effectively manage multiple accounts at the same time * Able to work remotely and be effective * Bachelor's degree * Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Requirements: * Experience in retail consumer packaged goods - Meat Specific * Experience in sales management in a leading retail packaged meat company Contact us to apply Denmark Foods is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
