Futureproof Properties is a West Michigan based real estate investment company; operating and investing in single and multi-family properties in West Michigan and other markets; including both long term and short term properties. Location: Holland, MI (80% remote) Hours per Week: 5-7 hours Job Type: Contract Position (Part Time) Hourly: $16-20 / hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

:

• Reply to and resolve maintenance requests from existing residents
• Manage existing tenant renewals
• New tenant placement: including listing properties, preparing them for rent (cleaning, repairs), screen tenants, in person showings, updating lease templates
• Utilities management and monitoring
• Helping to scope and coordinate remodels / property improvement projects with contractors
• Help source and evaluate service providers (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
• Help to purchase and select new fixtures and furnishings
• Help plan and coordinate meetings, logistics & travel
• Help source new properties / new investments
• Help manage short term rentals (outside of Holland area) Experience

Requirements

:

• Excellent written, phone and in person communication skills
• Previous customer service / client facing experience
• 2-3 years experience working in a professional role
• Optimistic, solutions focused problem solver
• Familiarity with standard business applications, able to learn new tools and platforms quickly tools used include: Zillow Rentals, Google Apps (Drive, Sheets, Calendar, Mail), utility management portals, vacation rental platforms (AirBnb, Furnished Finder, etc.)
• Bring your own mobile device and computer; no hardware provided
• College degree preferred, but not required This is an ideal role for: Someone seeking a flexible schedule, part time remote work.
