Applications Engineer Manager *SalesMuscle 's Client- Livermore, CA *SalesMuscle is a sales consultancy that recruits and selects top sales talent, and provides coaching and sales management mentorship for its clients. SalesMuscle founder, Lou Parrague, has over thirty years experience and is an expert at recruiting top talent and creating winning teams for his clients. *SalesMuscle is retained in the search for an Applications Engineer Manager for an established automation company. Duties and responsibilities * Provide support, coaching and mentoring to Applications Engineer team members * Manage engineering projects and activities assigned to team members * Be accountable for assigned project deliverables * Develop and manage process engineering project portfolio to support new product introductions * Proactively communicate project status to the project team and to business management * Establish clear ownership of tasks within the team and a clear schedule for completion * Work with operations to ensure seamless and successful achievement of daily production goals * Partner cross functionally to diagnose production issues * Respond to the most complex application issues for customers * Provide new hire applications support training * Create and modify overall support policy and procedures * Work on special projects to improve operating efficiency of applications support * Train end-users, resellers and internal staff on product offerings Skill Set * 6+ years of technology experience with 3+ years supporting applications * Results driven leadership and people management experience * Strong project management background * Ability to multi-task and to quickly adapt to a changing environment * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills * Experience in a highly technical environment * Experience managing teams, projects and budgets * Strong Customer service and vendor management skills Education * 4-year degree in Engineering with an emphasis on Business Administration or equivalent education/work experience Compensation * 120k base salary plus bonus of 20%+ Travel * Occasional travel to client sites * Work is on-site in Livermore Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
