Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register. * Maintain knowledge of products to effectively sell and promote items, including conducting product demos. * Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is well-presented. * Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs. * Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback. * Adhere to phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques. Skills * Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively. * Experience in retail sales or a similar environment is preferred but not required. * Ability to conduct product demonstrations confidently to showcase features and benefits. * Knowledge of stock management practices to assist with inventory control. * A proactive approach to upselling products based on customer preferences.
