We are looking for a competitive Insurance Agent to generate new business by contacting potential customers. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your assigned or prospective customers' portfolio. About Licona Insurance Group LLC Licona Insurance Group is a family owned and operated insurance agency, founded in 1967. Licona Insurance Group offers a wide range of diverse insurance products: Personal to Commercial, specializing in Auto Liability; Home ; Trucking and Cargo; Life Commercial and Motorcycle Insurance coverage. We aim to establish lasting relationships with our customers and protect their everyday needs. We currently have four offices in Texas: El Paso, San Antonio, McAllen, and Laredo Description WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Make outbound calls to generate appointments and market insurance products * Meet new business sales goals and objectives as established * Develop insurance quotes and sell personal lines of insurance including home and auto * Process customer policy change requests * Grow sales revenues through contacting prospective clients from various sources, such as, networking, cold calling, referrals etc * Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services. * Fulfill all carrier underwriting requirements. * WHAT YOU WILL NEED: * Valid driver's license * High School Diploma * 1 year of insurance sales preferred but nor required * Ability to deliver client focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships. * Strong communication, sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills. * Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus. * Currently possess or ability to obtain Personal Lines and Property & Casualty insurance license. Salary $10 - $12 per hour
