Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, demonstrating product features, and maintaining a well- organized sales floor. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Provide product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding. * Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging displays. * Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, including phone etiquette for incoming calls. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide support as needed. * Supervise junior staff or new hires when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment. Requirements * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. * Demonstrated ability in upselling and product knowledge is highly desirable. * Proficient in using POS systems or similar technology.
