Full description of the position

Job Summary Responsible for proactively generating sales, maintaining and growing the customer database, and producing and delivering quotes for the Turbo Prop maintenance marketplace. Duties & Responsibilities * Must possess a working knowledge of business aviation, maintenance, manufacturers, and marketplace trends * Demonstrated experience in selling maintenance, avionics and/or other products to turbine aircraft operators * Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously: possess thorough organization to ensure that all details of each ongoing project are followed through and managed correctly * Coordinate with quoter in support of writing customer proposals, to include assigning due dates, providing technical details, and proofing details prior to quote issue. * Occasional direct quoting work may be required, based on the needs of the business and customers. * Coordinate with Western Aircraft's Charter and Aircraft Sales division to proactively manage maintenance requirements * Ability to work well with others in different departments, even when challenges arise (schedule, budget, etc.) * Actively participate in trade shows by assisting where needed to set up/tear down booths and handle logistics; conduct follow-up calls to make the most of potential sales opportunities * Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers * Coordinate with planning and accounting teams to set up new customer accounts, and issue deposit invoices to customers. * Collect deposit payments from existing customers through arrival date of aircraft * Commitment to understanding business aviation marketplace, customers, and products * Work independently to manage time and resources towards successfully achieving sales quota * Ensure CRM data is continually updated in Salesforce.com for forecasting and customer management purposes * Leverage Miller Heiman sales methodology to achieve sales quotas and ensure thorough understanding of customer needs *Qualifications & Job Requirements * Demonstrated experience with selling via telephone phone and in person, and utilizing technology and social media * Demonstrated sales aptitude with ability to meet quotas and sales goals * Demonstrated understanding of business aviation MRO technical issues * Experience or ability to thoroughly learn CRM software, such as Salesforce.com * Must have MS Office experience including the creation of spreadsheets, quotes/customer letters, databases, and reports (Excel and Word) * Must have working knowledge of Corridor maintenance tracking system * Ability to interpret and navigate Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and technical directives Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Business or aviation related study strongly preferred or four years equivalent working experience in the general aviation industry * Preferred technical aviation experience or A&P certification Other Prerequisites * Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check * Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge * Valid Driver's License *Work Environment & Physical Requirements * Requires as much as 50% travel to visit customers, vendors, and attend trade shows; must be able to conform to TSA regulations for airline travel * Candidates must physically reside within the Pacific Northwest region of the United States with preference provided to candidates that reside within Boise, Idaho area. * Primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment * Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day * Occasional lifting and carrying to 50 lbs. * Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise level; frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes * Constantly requires clear vision to read printed materials and computer screen * Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers * Constantly requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to function in a general office environment to accomplish tasks * Constantly requires clarity of speech and hearing, which permits the employee to communicate Available Benefits * Medical, dental, vision * Short term & Long term Disability - paid 100% by Company * Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment - paid 100% by Company * Paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, jury duty, bereavement * Health Savings Account or Health Reimbursement Account (employer contributions tied to participation in wellness program) * 401K & Roth 401k with employer match * Flexible Spending programs Western Aircraft Inc. has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes applicants passing pre-employment testing in accordance with 14 CFR 120.
