Position Overview The Sales Engineer plays a vital role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, delivering impactful product demonstrations, and supporting clients with technical expertise and exceptional service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical acumen and a talent for communicating complex concepts in a way that resonates with customers. Key Responsibilities * Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities from lead generation through contract execution * Generate leads through cold outreach, referrals, and targeted marketing strategies * Conduct product demonstrations and provide on-site technical support during trials and installations * Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings * Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical inquiries with clarity and precision * Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to translate customer feedback into actionable improvements * Maintain comprehensive and accurate records in the Salesforce CRM system * Proactively address and resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner * Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline * Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales * Solid background in industrial materials processing technologies * Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills * Demonstrated ability to conduct technical product demonstrations and oversee installations * Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory * Proficient in CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce * U.S. citizenship with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record * Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time * Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with technical equipment is highly desirable ENG01 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Commission pay Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: * Butte, MT (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Butte, MT: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
