Role Overview: As the Education Market Leader (EML) for the Southwest region, you'll serve as the first point of connection between Kay-Twelve and the schools we support. Your role is all about building trust, creating opportunities, and helping school and district leaders bring their vision for learning to life. You'll lead with empathy, guide with strategy, and collaborate with our internal teams to develop modern, student-centered learning environments across this region. To join our team, please apply here instead of on Indeed: [please apply online] Key Responsibilities * Cultivate and nurture deep relationships with school leaders, superintendents, and education partners in the Southwest * Create and develop new business opportunities through authentic engagement and meaningful conversations * Lead discovery meetings, learning environment assessments, and strategic planning conversations * Book and facilitate Guided Collaboration Workshops (GCWs) to spark vision alignment and design planning * Collaborate with our internal design and operations teams to support project development from vision to installation * Use HubSpot CRM to manage opportunities, track outreach, and keep your territory aligned with company goals * Represent Kay-Twelve at local education events, conferences, and networking opportunities * Advocate for learner-centered spaces that support well-being, equity, and 21st-century learning outcomes To join our team, please apply here instead of on Indeed: [please apply online] Requirements: * 3-5+ years of experience in education, ideally as a teacher, instructional coach, administrator, or school leader * Deep understanding of the K-12 landscape, including district structures, educational priorities, and the challenges schools face today * Master's degree (preferred) in education, educational leadership, curriculum & instruction, or a related field * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain long-term relationships * Comfort with virtual collaboration tools and CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) * Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule, while staying aligned with team goals and processes * Skilled in consultative conversations -- asking the right questions, identifying needs, and guiding strategic next steps * Willingness to travel regionally (up to 25-40%) for in-person meetings, workshops, and school visits * Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple conversations and opportunities at various stages * Genuine passion for education, equity, and creating learner-centered environments To join our team, please apply here instead of on Indeed: [please apply online] Preferred: * Previous leadership experience within K-12 schools or districts (e.g., principal, curriculum director, or instructional coach). * Familiarity with the trends and challenges facing schools in the Southwest Region, including progressive education initiatives. * Experience with sustainable design, space planning, or furniture solutions within K-12 education environments. * Prior experience in sales, business development, or consulting in the education sector. * Knowledge of state-level educational policies and funding, including grants and district-wide initiatives. * Established network in the Southwest Region K-12 education community.
