We specialize in helping businesses streamline their payment processing needs while offering cost-effective, transparent pricing. We're looking for a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team and bring new merchants on board. Job Description: As a Business Development Representative at Swipe Saving, you will be responsible for both office-based and field-based activities aimed at signing up new merchants for our credit card processing services. You will work closely with the team in the office before hitting the road to engage potential clients in your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: * In-Office Duties (Daily): * Collaborate with the team to review leads and follow up on opportunities. * Participate in sales meetings, sharing updates and strategies. * Prepare and send out necessary paperwork for merchant sign-ups. * Update CRM and maintain detailed records of client interactions and progress. * Field Duties (Business-to-Business): * Visit local businesses, including retail stores, restaurants, and service providers, to introduce Swipe Saving's credit card processing services. * Conduct in-person meetings to assess business needs, explain Swipe Saving's offerings, and present our value proposition. * Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in businesses. * Close deals and sign contracts with new merchants. * Educate merchants on how Swipe Saving's services can reduce their processing fees and improve transaction efficiency. * Additional Responsibilities: * Attend networking events or industry conferences as needed to build a presence for Swipe Saving. * Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. * Provide feedback to the team about market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activity. Qualifications: * Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the payments or financial services industry. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage potential clients and build long-term relationships. * Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing time efficiently. * Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Ability to handle objections and negotiate contracts effectively. * Comfortable with using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within the local territory.
