Come Join our Growing Team: The Solutions Engineer plays a key role in delivering advanced IT support, solution design, implementation, and hardware/software installations for our clients. In addition to these responsibilities, the Solutions Engineer serves as an escalation point, providing expert technical guidance and support to junior team members. This position will include both remote support and on-site service to our clients. Travel will be required throughout RI & Eastern MA to our clients' offices to provide technical support and consulting to our clients. Must be dependable and eager to learn new technology. MTSi offers great training opportunities as well. Required Technical Skills and Experience: * Strong expertise in network management, including firewalls, switches, access points, and VPN technologies. * Proficiency in configuring firewall solutions such as SonicWall, Fortinet, etc. * Hands-on experience with Windows Server, including managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and server backup solutions (e.g., Veeam). * Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365, including spam filtering and other security features. * Experience working with Hypervisor technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). * Knowledge of Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, including both on-premise and hosted setups. * Familiarity with security tools, such as vulnerability management and endpoint security. Key Responsibilities: * Provide support services to customers throughout, eastern MA, & RI. * Travel to client sites and project locations as required * Must have excellent research and troubleshooting skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Provide telephone and remote support to our customers. * Manage and implement technical projects * Work with internal and external technical staff and vendors * Provide IT and network audits, reporting, and recommendations * Interact with Sales, Project Management, and Clients to support ongoing initiatives Business Skills: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent customer service and customer management skills * Ability to manage the technical aspects of a project from pre-sales to completion * Applicant must maintain a high level of professionalism with customers, vendors, and staff Personal Skills: * Straight forward and Honest * On Time * Self-Starter/Motivator * Willingness to Learn * Ability to listen to instructions and follow thru.
