Full description of the position

Our client is a category-leading chemical manufacturer for the consumer and industrial industries seeking a Technical Sales Rep for their Northeast territory. They offer a salary range of $90K - $100K with a $15K target bonus, profit sharing, holiday bonus, company car, laptop, and phone. Job responsibilities include:

• Cultivate a strong and loyal distributor network and customer base to achieve broad distribution of professional product lines
• Make regular customer visits throughout the entire territory (ME, VT, NH, MA, RI)
• Arrange 4-6 customer visits per day including distributors, PMPs and municipalities
• Introduce new products to pest control distributors and operators
• Provide technical training to distributor sales representatives and pest control operators
• Work with pest management professionals doing field work inspections for problem accounts
• Give presentations at association meetings, conferences, and distributor events
• Attend appropriate industry and distributor trade shows
• Develop and implement an annual business plan
• Communicate with supervisor on a regular basis; work closely with NY and VA territory managers
• Travel throughout the territory in an efficient and cost-effective manner The following qualifications must be met to be considered for the position:
• BS/BA required; preferably in Business or Marketing
• 2+ years industrial sales experience
• Experience selling to an established distributor/broker network strongly preferred
• Experience attending and working trade shows
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must live in the greater Boston area Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
