Full description of the position

• 5+ years of proven technical sales, HVAC sales experience
• An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles
• Verifiable experience with specified products
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications
• Assist TM's by calling on consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and owners to achieve company sales and margin goals.
• Conduct sales, design, and application training to above reference key decision makers
• Work with mechanical contractors, engineers and design-build contractors to help specify Ruud products
• Create new business through organized prospecting and increase our share of business from assigned territory
• Assist with conducting take-offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates, write the proposal and bid jobs.
• Validate that inventory levels on key products are in stock and provide forecasts to purchasing team on all commercial models.
• Participate in local and regional trade organizations and trade shows.
• Support TM's by providing and/or coordinate technical and product training to customers
• Document all customer and employee interactions in the CRM, including bids
• Build, maintain and utilize commercial trailer for on-site training events. At least (3) onsite training events should be completed each month.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Solid problem-solving abilities with the competence to make recommendations Job Type: Full-time
