Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well- organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales, with the ability to upsell products effectively. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products. * Utilize retail math skills to manage stock levels and assist with inventory management. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. * Communicate product features and benefits to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. * Supervise stock replenishment and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including displays and promotional materials. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. * Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. * Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. * Experience with supervising or leading teams is a plus. * Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. * A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing customer satisfaction. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
