This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team environment to help cultivate new business and drive sales while maintaining established clientele. Position Summary: Responsible for helping drive and grow the business through acquiring, maintaining and servicing hotel clientele. Also expected to uphold and maintain Visions Hotels standards of guest service as well as go above and beyond to ensure the guest's total service experience. Responsibilities * Selling short term/smaller group business. * Respond to inquiries - inbound phone and written. * Conceptualize, draft and send well-constructed and professional correspondence and proposals. * Host property tours, familiarizing customers and potential customers with property features, products and services. * Assist in the coordination of client appreciation events and sales blitzes. * Create and monitor group rooms reservations. * Work with sales leaders to ensure group reservations are accurate. * Maintain an accurate and easy-to-use filing system for storing sales documents. * Create and distribute reports necessary for the department. * Develop professional sales presentation materials, with guidance and utilizing available resources. * Maintain positive inner-hotel relationships with all hotel departments to expedite efficient communication. * Politely and professionally answer the telephone and greets clients. * Maintain an organized professional-looking office environment. * Represents themselves and the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service focused approach and a caring, sincere attitude at all times. * Exhibits a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintains open communication with all co-workers for the best overall performance of the hotel. * Other duties as assigned. Job Skills: * Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and brand property Management System(s). * Exercise excellent communication and listening skills. * Knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions a plus. Job Qualifications: * Education HS Diploma or equivalent. * Experience minimum 6 months office or sales experience. * Experience with Hilton, Marriott, IHG brands a plus. * Knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions a plus. Position reports to the Regional Director of Sales and interacts regularly with hotel General Manages, Regional Performance Managers, and Revenue Management Team.
