Pawn Broker/ Sales Associate Pawn 1, Inc. started in Spokane, WA 40 years ago and now has 26 locations in Eastern and Western Washington, throughout Idaho, and most recently our proud acquisition of Vista Pawn in the treasure Valley.-- and we are continuing to grow. Pawn 1 is not a franchise, so even with numerous locations and our projected growth; we strive to keep each location involved with the company as a whole. We currently are seeking an outgoing, hardworking, and dependable individual to train as a Pawnbroker and Sales Associate to add to our team. This is a very interesting job that allows for personal decision making, and unique interactions with customers. From loaning and buying jewelry and electronics, to tools and firearms, video games, music instruments, boats, ATVs, motorcycles and more, there is a ton of variety and loads of opportunity in this interesting and cool job for a great company! Qualifications for Pawn Broker/ Sales Associate: * Must possess high school diploma or equivalent * Must be willing to undergo a background check to work around firearms * Must have an open and flexible schedule. Evenings and weekends availability. * Previous retail and/or money handling experience is a plus * Able to lift 30+ pounds * Enjoy working with people--both customers and co-workers * Must have reliable transportation * Must be able to work in a fast paced environment * Must be able to stand for long periods of time * Must be able to climb ladders, and stairs * Must have basic computer skills * Must be able to work independently as well as on a team * Must be able to multi-task * Bilingual skills are a plus, with a potentially higher starting wage Please check us out at Pawn1.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.50 - $14.75 per hour Benefits: * Paid time off Shift: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
